Synopsis

Abstract

Buku “Green Accounting” mengupas tuntas konsep akuntansi yang berfokus pada isu-isu lingkungan dan keberlanjutan. Dikenal juga sebagai Environmental Accounting atau Akuntansi Hijau, buku ini memperkenalkan pendekatan baru yang mengintegrasikan dampak lingkungan ke dalam sistem pelaporan keuangan perusahaan. Dengan meningkatnya tekanan global untuk menjalankan bisnis yang lebih ramah lingkungan, akuntansi hijau menjadi salah satu kunci dalam memastikan bahwa dampak lingkungan dari aktivitas bisnis dapat diukur, dilaporkan, dan dikelola secara efektif.

Buku ini tidak hanya menjelaskan teori dasar dari Green Accounting, tetapi juga memberikan panduan praktis untuk implementasinya di berbagai sektor. Mulai prinsip-prinsip, kerangka kerja, pengukuran, implementasi, hingga teknologi dan inovasi dalam green accounting. Pembahasan juga dilengkapi dengan tantangan dan hambatan, masa depan green accounting, termasuk Islamic green accounting. Selain itu, disajikan juga studi kasus yang menunjukkan penerapan akuntansi hijau di perusahaan-perusahaan besar dan organisasi internasional.

Dikembangkan oleh tim kolaborasi yang terdiri dari akademisi dan praktisi berpengalaman, buku ini sangat relevan untuk mahasiswa, peneliti, dan profesional yang tertarik pada manajemen lingkungan, keberlanjutan, dan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan. Dengan pendekatan yang komprehensif, “Green Accounting” memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana akuntansi dapat menjadi alat penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara profitabilitas dan kelestarian lingkungan di era modern ini.
